How To Make Rabbit Or Cat Baby Booties TUTORIAL

A while back I made some very sweet, completely awesome booties for Easter at my shop. Yep, you guessed it, they flew off the shelves....well, not at Etsy (I have no clue why!), but elsewhere on the Internet where I have splattered my talents and wares. :)
Here they are:

And because of their popularity, I made some monkey ones...a "tweak" version of the above booties....for a custom order request. Those became popular as well, so now both continue to smile happily online at my shop as well as on the shelves at my brick and mortar shop!

Too cute huh? And you can make these cute booties in the cat or bunny version (or any "tweak" you like!) with this simple PDF file. They are called MACY CAT/RABBIT BOOTIES and even a novice sewer can make them!

I would LOVE to see your cute little bootie pictures! Just post them below! If you have pictures of your "tweaks", I would be even more interested to see them!

Have a fabulous day!

VERY Cute Patriotic Baby Patterns!

So, in my Type A personality quest for even more  baby clothes patterns, I began to "stalk" some new and old haunts of mine....
I have a zillion baby clothes patterns and baby clothes blogs to share and can't WAIT to share them with my readers. But, I'm gonna take a deep breathe and focus on just a little bit of sharing at a time.....(wink).
Here's a site I stumbled across today.... Whimsy Couture Boutique. So completely awesome.
Here's a snippet of the things she has on her latest post. I'm so making them when I get done with the holiday rush of orders to fill at my own boutique shop!

Pumpkin Pants:

Are these not adorable?!

Of course they are! You have to check out that Etsy shop! You can get a pattern for making them yourself here.

Then there are the lacey criss cross tunic, which I could just eat up....who wouldn't want a baby girl like this?

Best part, is that you can make it for the summer holidays and with a little red, white, blue....whalah! Here's a stinking adorable way to celebrate July 4th!

I LOVE tulle....I put A LOT of it on my own boutique items. :D

I am going to order the pattern for the sweet number below ASAP. I just have to have it.

It reminds me of my own petal dress I make for my shop.....(pictured below):

Now that the above dress comes in solid red, it is even more like the dress featured on the little girl on the wood box!

Well back to my endless orders of baby items. Happy holidays!

Goodbye Old, Borrowed And Blue!

After my recent engagement to my beloved boyfriend, I decided to change everything about my life for the better.....
I threw out all of the old remnants of bygone lovers' pictures.....their incidental and forgotten belongings that lingered at my apartment like an old smell of garlic and onions or a rotten gym bag....and I did away with my old blog. Good riddance....who needs it when my stalker psycho ex follows it with a criminal passion??!
I discarded many more things that I am sure that I would bore you to tears with if I listed them all. I only kept my cats and my kids. I guess you have to keep some things from your past. :D
I even changed a lot of things about my online baby boutique, where I make handmade and custom baby items. It's called Far Out Sprouts. I decided to make a more clean, streamlined clothing line whereby I would make handmade, computerized images on my computer and transfer them onto my silkscreen printing machine. (I'll teach you how to do that later!)
I cleared my home office of all the unnecessary junk and partial, unwanted sewing patterns....bon vi-age!
Then I went to work on this blog....that has frustrated me more than I feared. For reasons that even God probably can explain, the blog header or title image did NOT want to appear on my blog despite saying it should and has downloaded. Thus, I must be content to admire it sadly below, as the sky outside rips it's innards and spews it bowels upon the earth; a much needed end to the horrid Texas drought!
